Welcome Home Patriots! Merry Christmas

August 1, 2010

Christmas is coming. I can through the cold, which begin to bite off's telling, and the bright orange and yellow leaves on the ground, or the obscene amount of X-Mas decorations and products in the large grocery stores before Thanksgiving is even over. But I can also say that the summer holidays approaching, because everyone I know is more and more excited about celebrating the return of our greatest American heroes, our U.S. soldiers.

The winter holidays arethe most popular holiday of the year. Beautiful, bright colored lights up the city. The house is warm filled with the scent of Christmas, cinnamon, gingerbread, winter-green trees, baked goods and hot cocoa. The decorations up by home-made socks to candy canes and Christmas bulbs, the birth and Christmas villages. Gifts are waiting patiently to be opened tomorrow at the Christmas tree on. Amid all this magnificence andJoy, we must always remember to get the true spirit of the holiday, our family and friends together. It is hard to forget that all this would be impossible were it not for the brave service men and women who risk their lives all over the world to the freedoms we get in America to protect so much joy. In the United States, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and Freedoms guarantee a living, not easily reproduced everywhere in the world, and do not forget us. All ourCountry, friends and families of the military, always ready to welcome home their soldiers from abroad.

Troops that were deployed in Afghanistan or Iraq, can expect to come for a year or more tour, but the U.S. military has agreed to let soldiers home for the holidays. Everyone is thrilled with how welcome these soldiers home, but the military can not always pay for the ride. It is easily seen to lift the spirit of Christmas in times like these, when entire cities come togetherenough money to bring a local division back to the states for the holidays.

Nevertheless, many U.S. troops are needed in their stations in the holidays, and do not have the opportunity to come home and see their families. So, for many Americans, Christmas shopping includes family and friends, decorations and wrapping paper, Christmas dinner, and very often, something special for our brave soldiers. There are many sites and programs that help people here in the canStates to return soldiers overseas. A special website http://www.troopssupport.com is a compilation of dozens of not-for-profit companies, gifts to send CARE packages to our troops deployed heroes boxes to give them a piece of home we know it Do not miss. If anyone deserves a special Christmas present, it is the men and women who risk the ultimate sacrifice for us here at home.

Christmas Craft Ideas – 2 Unique and Easy Christmas Crafts That Make Great Presents

July 12, 2010

Christmas is a fun and exciting time for children of all ages. The older children get, the more they want the people who love to show their appreciation. Of course, the children receive the majority of the presents under the tree, but that does not mean they can not say "thank you" unique in its own way.

Most children find it difficult to (buy presents at Christmas the most because they make money no jobs), but there are ways that you as parents, aunt, uncle, help sister, brother, babysitter or teacher can. Crafts are simple, affordable and fun and give children the opportunity to feel important during the holidays.

Here are three easy and fun Christmas craft ideas that children love it:

1st Christmas Light Bulb numbers.

For children aged 7 and older

Materials: a light bulb, fabric paint, glue, a piece of string and decoration materials (saucer eyes, a small Santa hat, glitteretc.)

Directions: First, do what you need is to decide what character etc do you want to Christmas (you can choose Snowman Santa, Mrs. Clause, an elf, a). Let's say you choose Santa. Paint the light bulb as close as possible skin color. Let it dry. Once dry, hold the bulb, so the larger end at the bottom of that and the metal part is at the top. Now add rosy cheeks with pink color, lips, with a white beard, eyes and nose. Add all otherFeatures you want, too. If you want to add a hat to ensure that it stuck to the close. The final step is to add the string, so you can hang your decoration. If you do not have a hat on the ornament, just add the string to the metal part of the bulb when it normally screws into the light. You're done. If you have a hat just tie the string tip of the hat – so make sure your hat on tight or your lamp could fall on to the end andSmashing.

2nd Baby food jar Christmas Tree.

For children aged 10 and older

Materials: 13 empty glass with baby formula, crazy glue, tape, a small group of mini-lights, cardboard, other decorative elements

Directions: Make sure all your baby food jars are empty and clean. Take your piece of cardboard and lay it flat. Set up your baby food jars in the shape of a pyramid on the board. If you are satisfied with the way they set-up, outside the trackthe glasses with a pencil on the cardboard. Take the baby food jars from the box and cut out the shape of the tree. Now glue the crazy baby food jars on the tree-shaped piece of cardboard with strong glue. As soon as you glued, you take your series of mini-lights and order them through the lenses as you want (make sure the end of the string is a bit towards the bottom of the tree and has enough room to plug lights in the wall). Now decorate the remainingthe tree with ribbon, glitter beads, etc. Once everything is completely dry, stood on the Christmas tree and plug it into the wall. You have a beautiful decoration for someone to receive Christmas time impressed on.

Hope you enjoyed our Christmas craft. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
